2013年深圳“百度国际大厦”的竞标中，由髙志强领衔的设计团队力挫Gensler、B+H等世界顶级设计机构，一举中标，设计师们凭藉充满想像力的设计与髙超精湛的技术奇迹般完成了这项工作，并创造性地提出“空间情绪设计”理念。

In the bidding of Shenzhen Baidu International Building in 2013, the design team led by Steve Gao defeated the world's top design institutions such as Gensler and B+H, winning the bid, and the designers relied on imaginative design and superb technical wonders. In this work, the concept of “Space Emotion Design” was creatively proposed.

“空间情绪设计”的概念与国际前沿的WELL健康建筑标准™（WELL™）不谋而合 ，WELL将设计和施工中的最佳实践与注重实据的医学和科学研究相结合，以建筑环境为媒介，促进人类健康和福祉。髙志强团队的 “空间情绪设计”主张把空间功能重新赋予人的属性，通过对空间的设计和塑造，使人居于其中，生理和心理情绪均处于最佳状态。回归到人文本真，首先需要考虑的是“使用者的感知体验”，其次是建筑要“优雅隽永的存在”，最终空间设计能帮助业主创造性地实现更多的附加价值。
